For their animated series reimagining the classic Konami videogame, Netflix asked us to create an animated piece exploring the real figure behind the lore of Dracula. We chose an illustrated style that made use of archival footage and blended them together with the textures and neon colors of the Castlevania aesthetic.
The look and story of this piece were created by myself. The animation was done by Nathan Zankich and Sam Surtandi. Creative direction by Harshit Desai and Paul Hoegh-Guldberg.
